1. What this app is

TheDoubleTakeDept Pin Scheduler ("the App") is a private, single-user tool. The App owner uses it to publish Pins that promote the owner's own Etsy listings to the owner's own Pinterest boards. The App is not offered to the public. It has no other users, no sign-up, and no user interface for anyone else.

2. What the App does with Pinterest

When the owner authorizes the App through Pinterest's official OAuth flow, the App uses the Pinterest API to:

• read the owner's own Pinterest account details and the owner's own boards, so that it can choose where to publish;
• create boards on the owner's own account;
• create Pins on the owner's own boards, using images, titles, descriptions and links taken from the owner's own Etsy listings.

The App requests only these scopes: boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write, user_accounts:read.

The App does not read, collect, store or analyze any other Pinterest user's data. It does not follow, message, or interact with other accounts. It does not save content created by other people.

3. Data we store

The App stores only:

• OAuth tokens (the access token and refresh token) that Pinterest issues for the owner's account. They are kept in a file readable only by the owner's account on a private server. They are used solely to make the API calls described above.
• A local list of Pins already published or scheduled (Pin IDs, board IDs, listing IDs, and timestamps), so that the App does not publish duplicates.

The App does not store Pinterest passwords, session cookies, or any personal information about anyone other than the owner.

4. Data we do not collect or share

• No data from other Pinterest users, Etsy buyers, or members of the public is collected.
• No data is sold, rented, shared with, or disclosed to third parties.
• No data is used for advertising, profiling, or analytics outside of the owner's own account.
• The App uses no tracking cookies, analytics SDKs, or third-party data processors.

5. Data sources

The Pin content (images, titles, descriptions and links) comes from the owner's own public Etsy listings. The App retrieves them through Etsy's official Open API, using the owner's own Etsy credentials.

6. Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept only as long as the owner uses the App. The owner can revoke the App's access at any time from the apps section of Pinterest account settings. Revoking access makes the stored tokens useless. The owner then deletes the token file and the local publishing log.

7. Security

Tokens are stored with file permissions that restrict access to the owner's server account. They are never committed to source control or published. The App secret is stored as an environment variable and is not shared.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children and is not used by anyone other than the owner.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
